I love everything about this printer. Why did I wait so long to buy a laser printer? The Canon inkjet printers I've owned had to replace ink cartridges frequently, had regular mechanical failures, and struggled to print regularly from Chrome using Google Cloud Print. This Brother printer is to die for: very reliable, cartridges last forever in normal home use (and they don't dry out like inkjets), and wireless printing is reliable - I've had no problems printing from Windows, Mac or Chromebook.

UPDATE: In less than two months of light home office use the printer gave me a low toner warning and at the same time the toner had run out that day. If you buy this printer, which I do not recommend, make sure you have a supply of toner. I have had this printer for several months now. It didn't help that neither the manual that came with my brother nor the online manuals for the printer really solved the problem I was having with saving documents to file over a local USB connection. Within 2 weeks of printing fewer than 100 pages I received a 'replace toner' message and was unable to print. I contacted Brother through their chat and provided the model and serial numbers of the printer and toner cartridge.
