A real bargain - and very affordable

Bought to replace what was "missing" during a quilting class. I have two computerized Brother machines and I'm lost without a seam joiner foot. Brother Foot at a great price - thanks Revain!

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Drives me crazy

No regrets good for sewing

I love this little foot. Really great for appliquΓ© and I love that I can quickly join the edges without bulky seams! Oddly enough, I still prefer my good old clear-bottomed zigzag foot for topstitching (a popular use of this foot) as it makes it easier to see the curves. The only disappointment I get from this stage are the corners and the visibility. The manual is definitely structured for straight paths, which limits it a bit. Still great for what I use it for!

Pros
  • There's something to it
Cons
  • Little problems

Most useful sewing foot tool

I use this foot all the time for edging and topstitching. I used my own hemmer foot but found that it has a wider opening in the foot which allows for more needle positions. This foot, the N foot, and the quarter inch foot are my favorite feet. I even use this for some zipper inserts when using a zipper longer than the hole so the bullet doesn't get in the way. I find more control sewing a zipper than with a real zipper foot.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Requires socket

Left needle position tested works on my Janome

Janome doesn't seem to have this foot so I bought it for my Janome 6300. It fits and you can use it, but be careful. VERY carefully as this foot requires you to read the instructions. Brother machines sometimes have left needle lift and this foot is made for that. Make sure you move the needle all the way to the left to use this foot. When you do this, you can sew with either a straight stitch or a zigzag stitch, as long as you try very carefully first to make sure your stitch width isn't…

Pros
  • Pleasant
Cons
  • Obsolete

The Best Presser Foot for Sewing Straight Lines and Bias Binding

This presser foot is like a hidden gem of a presser foot that most people dislike. "If you can't sew straight, use this foot" or the nice slanting foot, because that's what I use this foot for. Fabric against and then sew. When I want to sew a straight line along a straight edge, I use this foot to guide me. This foot is also handy for overcasting as it always wraps around the edge and you can get very tight and very fine stitches near the edge. the edges. For the bias binding, I use it to make
