Excellent efficient shears

The best bird shears I have ever used. Super sharp, good leverage with a large notch near the bone cutting hinge, excellent shape to get into small bone cutting spaces, good spring to open the scissors, ergonomically designed handles and a handy lock to keep them closed. At the moment I am totally fascinated by the easy handling of these scissors.

Pros
  • Very impressive
Cons
  • A few minor things

Durable and super easy to use

I used these for our Thanksgiving turkey. Cutting was easy without putting any strain on the scissors, so they're really heavy. I'm a woman with small hands and the grip seemed particularly comfortable. The closed handle on the underside secures the grip so that the scissors do not slip even in greasy conditions. There is a button to open or lock the blades.

Pros
  • Large selection
Cons
  • Approx

Very sharp and with great cutting power

When you need to cut a whole chicken, you need shears that can do the job. It looks like quality scissors. The blades are made of German stainless steel with micro-serration on one side. The handle is ergonomic and dishwasher safe. The handle is made of glass fiber reinforced polypropylene. I would give them a much higher rating but the locking mechanism to protect you is completely absent.

Not your ordinary kitchen scissors.

These are some very serious scissors. They do their job professionally. I'm just warning that they shouldn't be lying next to teenagers or immature people. It was easy to cut off fingers like that. We used them on a chicken and the scissors cut it through with some arm strain. I would have preferred to disassemble them for better machine washability, but I feel this feature would dampen their effectiveness.

Durable and sharp. for kitchen and dining room

They cut the ribs but not the spine of my 8 month old roosters which is the best test you will get. The blades are very strong and won't slip or come loose if you ask a lot of them. They are sharp enough for all common purposes. I love the locking feature that keeps the nib from falling out in your drawer. They won't fit small kitchen scissors due to a loop, but when you have something that hard you have to use both hands and bend down. on a pen it will work fine.

Pros
  • Don't waste too much time
Cons
  • Long delivery time

Big and sharp in the kitchen and dining room

They're bigger than I expected, but the spring-loaded opening mechanism makes them easy to use. However if you have small hands you may have a hard time with them. The blades are thin and sharp and cut very well. I have a few other "regular" kitchen scissors that I have used for years and while I like them I have to admit that they are better and not just because they are newer - I think they just have the best Design (same again if you have small hands). Note: the blades are magnetic so you…

Pros
  • There's something to it

Robust and reliable for scissors

These poultry scissors are designed for tough use. We use them for everything in the kitchen, and they're just as useful for chopping herbs as they are for carving meat. Your grip is a little big for my hand. It's not uncomfortable per se, but I have to make sure I'm holding them properly in order to use them properly. This is actually because they are fairly durable scissors that are designed to allow you to make tough cuts with minimal effort. The locking mechanism on the blades doesn't feel…

Pros
  • Slim design
Cons
  • Something is wrong
