Drill and start again

Which would take 15 minutes, after the learning curve it took me 1.25 hours. A great project for those who like to work with their hands.

Pros
  • Power tool replacement parts
Cons
  • Upgradeable

My Milwaukee drill is like new again.

This worked well in repairing my Milwaukee drill press. There were some problems with the installation, but the most important conclusion is to choose the right cable length so that the excess does not affect the reassembly.

Pros
  • Power and Hand Tools
Cons
  • Modern

NOT WHAT IS IN THE PICTURE

The seller's picture did NOT match what was seen! If you look closely at the photos, you'll see that the original Milwaukee part is made of thicker, stronger plastic and has vertical supports in the central area between the brushes. This was shown in the photos in the listing which is why I bought this product. Instead of installing an inferior part, I carefully removed the brushes and soldered them into the original Milwaukee part. I guess I just ended up paying $13 for 4 new carbon brushes…

Pros
  • Power tool parts and accessories
Cons
  • I don't remember
