So far good for thermometer

We bought it to measure the temperature of industrial equipment. Haven't used it yet but the pyrometer looks as advertised. The only problem was that the battery was dead when it arrived. When we replaced it, it immediately caught fire.

A complete waste of money. It only reads its temperature!

Accuracy. This software doesn't have that. Ease of use of course, pull the trigger and it will tell you what temperature it is. Value... is a piece of plastic with a battery worth it? Does not do as described so I would say it is of no value.

Pros
  • Ideal for a small home
Cons
  • Fits

Do not buy. Inaccurate

It was a waste of money. It's not even remotely accurate. You can go into the settings and change the emissivity for a different material, but still far from the actual temperature. I have a calibrated thermometer and the readings range from 20 to 50 degrees. Too late to return, my loss.

  • good thing

Accuracy (see device instructions to ensure accuracy)

Careful consideration has been given to this purchase. I narrowed it down to this one and one that looked remarkably similar. It became an easy choice. There are no problems with the flow meter. Easy to use. Follow the instructions. If you're having trouble reading carefully, go back and read the instructions again.

I wish it would do what it should

The display is very nice. Navigating the display is easy. I have this for measuring the temperature of electrical connections and bearings. I work in a foundry where iron can get up to 3200 degrees Fahrenheit, so I thought it would be a good idea to also check the temperature of the iron, which is said to be between 2400 and 2700 degrees Fahrenheit. went into it. Milwaukee showed it at 240 and this one showed 60 at 110. Not very decisive in pace and way below what it should be. Now that I knew…

Pros
  • The best
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

After 999 degrees, zero must be added to the readings.

Instructions are incomplete, there are no instructions to tell the user that after 999 degrees Fahrenheit the display will only show 3 digits not four. In other words, the value 112 is actually 1120 degrees. It took us several hours to figure it out and a useless, expensive phone call to China. Also in the review you ask questions about the accuracy, how can anyone confirm the accuracy. The instruction manual is poorly written. I really think the instrument could be a good buy if it is really…

Pros
  • Hands free
Cons
  • Very expensive
