Excellent Tool for Auto Repairs

Not an easy task, suitable for steering and hanging tools

I bought these spring compressors to replace struts on a 2008 Toyota 4Runner. They are simple and relatively easy to use. As I tightened them to compress the spring, I noticed that the threaded rods bowed inward toward the spring. Even when both sides were tightened evenly, they sagged inward. This is a bit annoying as there is a lot of energy stored in the spring and I was more than concerned about the consequences of the threaded rods failing/breaking.
