Great for hitting but poor quality

I love how light this hammer is, it makes hitting a lot less tiring. Albeit not that high quality. I didn't do any heavy hitting like punching or riveting, just punching and the handle already cracks. And the end piece that holds everything together is unscrewed every minute or so. If it gets too loose I can't get a clean stamp, it gets spooky. Some sort of threadlocker will probably fix it, I'll just have to buy it. It's a good price considering how much quality costs, so I don't regret buying

Pros
  • Well built
Cons
  • Poorly thought out

I'm glad I took the risk.

Always wondered if I wanted chain mail instead of a hammer. Got a flyer about it. For using a chisel and cutting corners this is absolutely perfect and actually a lot easier to use than the soft hammer I used. Much less effort and I've found that I don't have to keep track of the "hot" and can instead focus on the "business side" of the tool I'm using.

Pros
  • New durable hammer for manual leatherworking and wood carving, suitable for professionals and amateurs alike.
Cons
  • Slightly torn

A risk taken. best in Leathercraft Accessories

I've wanted to try a sledgehammer for a long time without spending a lot of money on it. Because maybe I don't like that feeling. Do not worry. This sledgehammer is perfect, a little light, weighing just under a pound. It is convenient to use. Much better than my $100 polymer hammer. I had to sand down the rough edge on top, but everything else seems solid with the tool. The sledgehammer resembles a swinging motion rather than a blow, just like a hammer. It feels like I have more consistent…

Pros
  • It's light enough to last for hours and heavy enough to make a good impression. I'll write
Cons
  • later

Very lucky little leatherworking sledgehammer

WOW! I am very happy with this little sledgehammer. As many other reviewers have repeatedly pointed out, it feels great in the hand and is worth the money for the leatherwork. Some remarks on its construction; The total weight of the hammer is 11.1 ounces, with 9.7 ounces in the head. This means that when you strike, most of the weight is on you. The short handle and the way it's held makes it feel comfortable and controlled when in use. I've had a couple of good hits on my quartz countertop…

Pros
  • Hitting a leather tool to print various designs on leather goods.
Cons
  • Expensive
