My new favorite fillet knife

I also have a high end Rapala and a wired Mr Twister and the cordless Bubba knife is much better. It's quiet, feels good in the hand, has a great body and the new flexible blades are the best in the business. Not cheap but after cleaning the fish for the first time you will be glad you bought it.

Blades are dull suitable for cutlery and knife accessories

My $15 Walmart Special Electric Filet Knife cuts better than this thing. I am a year round crappie fishing guide and clean thousands of crappies each year. The blades on this thing are very disappointing to say the least. Save a few bucks and pass this knife on. I bought it because it is wireless and allows me to clean fish when the cleaning stations are closed.

Works well but one battery dies after the second use

knives and blades work very well. Cuts fish and skin fillets better than expected. However, removing the blades from the power head is inconvenient. Both batteries are fully charged before use, and one battery will not work with repeated use. Charged overnight, worked about 3 minutes and died. The battery indicator also did not work properly with this defective battery from day one. I hope Revain and/or Bubba Knives will replace it soon (for free)?

Very nice filleting knife

This is my first Bubba filleting knife. Very good. Good selection of knives. I know it's the most expensive product but everyone who has used it loves it. Wireless is the only way I will go from now on. No more pulling an extension cord or lugging around a lead-acid battery. The battery life is amazing. Cleared out 80 crappies and left 2 bars. It was only one of two batteries! If you have the money to buy a top fillet knife, buy this one. I was not given anything for this review. I only write…

Addendum 21 April 2020 See complaint below. I have emailed Bubba Blade Customer Service and explained the problem. Within one (1) week they sent me a new replacement knife. The new knife works great. They support your product and are easy to use. Now a satisfied customer! Captain. Mike 🎣 March 2020 I'm a fishing guide and I fish about 175-200 days a year. Fillet a lot of fish for my customers. I bought a cordless Bubba Li-Ion fillet knife about two months ago. Has worked for a good month. The…

Delivered quickly and as others have said the sheath and spare blades/battery are very nice. It seems well made and the blades work at a pretty good speed. Here's the thing, it doesn't cut well at all. In general I've cleaned most catfish in the 3-5 lb range with cord knives and I have a cordless lipo rapalla that works significantly better. The thorax of these cats is definitely complex, so I can't comment on how it works on smaller finfish. Bass, crappie etc. I would say if you are a crappie…

I use it to clean everything from sharks, which are the hardest to clean due to their sandpaper-like skin, to giant trevally, amberjacks and oily albacore tuna. Filleting is easy, but steaking into half-inch pieces is much more difficult on the blade. It even cleans gray bass, also known as jobfish or UKU in Hawaii. They have heavy scales, like those of a sea bass. With one battery I can process 15 to 20 fish. It is a marine fish weighing between 10 and 25 pounds. I tried to add photos but they
