I have to have it handy.

I found out about this item many years ago and now I will never change a lightbulb without it. All bulbs unscrew easily for replacement, cleaning etc and I have never seen the bulb and socket welded together like cheap bulbs or brackets have been in the past. The order came as promised and I am satisfied with this product and the seller. I'll buy more if needed, but lasts a long time. If you haven't used it yet, you won't be disappointed.

Pros
  • Pleasant to use
Cons
  • Everything OK

Each fan seems to have at least one snapped off

I always have trouble removing candelabra bulbs from ceiling fans. It seems at least one of each fan breaks then I have to pull the pliers and try to pull the base out that way. I saw this somewhere on the internet and decided to give it a try. It is very thin like wax that is applied to the finger and then rubbed into the onion. You hardly see it on the bulb so it's a little hard to tell if you've worn enough, but a container should last a very long time, possibly a lifetime if you're using…

Pros
  • Sturdy workmanship
Cons
  • Communication with seller
