Looks good but not sure about the quality

I have 60 watt antique, 40 watt amber and finally these amber Spanlite bulbs with Tried 25 watts to achieve an extra warm, soft glow from two sconces in our newly renovated bedroom. These lights are just perfect, orange but not too bright but not too bright. After installing a few of these, however, the first one burned out after about 5 seconds. The return isn't worth the hassle, but I'm annoyed to say the least. If I encounter other reliability issues I will update my review. Otherwise, the…

good light. Short life.

I used two of these 25 watt amber bulbs in a heavy duty outdoor light that runs 24 hours a day. I really like the light it has, but the first one burned out after about two weeks. The second burned down soon after. Did others have the same problem?
