. Bought 20 and 17 died in less than 4 months. The previous brand lasted around 10-14 months. 4 were on the app from dusk to dawn and the rest were on all the time. All on light poles in the driveway. those that are in continuous use have probably achieved an expected lifespan of 2,500 hours.

The sticker on the box says 60w but when I was ready to install it I found it was 40w as on the bulb and indicated on the carton. Since the bubble wrap was stuck to the box, I only read the sticker at first because I would have to tear it open to get to the box. So the bubble wrap is good, but the product is bad. When ordering 60 watt bulbs I want the product to be correct and not the aftermarket label!

Ms. Maude is very happy with this bulb. The last 15w chandelier bulbs we bought from Revain were GE branded, I thought we could trust GE, they were made in the Philippines and dimmed when she first saw them. I assumed a dimmer, but it isn't. These bulbs retain their brightness and have a beautiful white color. The listing claims the same as a 40w incandescent bulb, it's a lot dimmer.
