Supplied with spare bulb. It has an iron cast over the bulb to prevent the salt stones from hitting the bulb's surface. I use Himalayan salt for cooking so these salt rocks are authentic. The lamp is very beautiful. Before buying it I thought it was too expensive. But now I think it's worth the price. You can see the photos I have attached. I don't know the properties and/or benefits of a salt lamp, all I can tell you is that it's just wonderful. It can be dimmed, from a subtle, very delicate glow to a bright one that makes it look like lava rock. trees around him. It's just stunning, really. I love Himalayan salt lamps. I have 4 of these at the moment. Due to the size of my bedroom I felt I needed a second light. I removed one from the living room when I got this one. I wanted a beautiful designer tree lamp in the living room for everyone to see. It's ready to plug in and enjoy the light. An additional lightbulb was installed. I am very happy with it and I hope that the lamp in this lamp will last as long as in my other lamps that run full fire 24/7 and will last almost a year.
