Slightly misleading

You may need to move the clutch away from the engine to clean it. Works great with my 13 PSEdit. About an hour later, the wife and daughter welded the belt. I would not recommend more than 8 hp. The description is misleading.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • There are new competitors

Don't buy, missing parts🙄

Had to shave off most of the belt base plate immediately, then after reading other people's reviews it looks like you also forgot my brass spacer shown in the photo when sent, I did will update this post but don't buy 420 predator!

Pros
  • Excellent overall
Cons
  • Expensive

Important information on predatory fish at a glance

Not suitable for harbor freight robbers. I made a 1/4 inch offset with screw holes. And you have to turn it to get the engine to idle. I'm thinking clockwise if I remember. I used 309cc there just fine ungornern. and the 420 eventually burned out the belt. Note that this will cause the belt to wear out faster.

Pros
  • Enjoyable
Cons
  • Zero

NOT SATISFIED WITH TRANSMISSION

NONE OF THE HOLES IN THE BASE PLATE DO NOT MATCH THE ENGINE, NEED TO MAKE ADJUSTMENTS FOR INSTALLATION. NOT SATISFIED WITH POWER TRANSMISSION. INSTALLED ON 8HP PREDATOR ENGINE. ON THE MANCO DINGO GO KART. I suspect I'll have to upgrade to a 40 series torque converter. SECOND ASSEMBLY (different brand) NOT SUITABLE FOR THIS ENGINE. It would be good to have more specific information on which engines this is suitable for.

Pros
  • Certificate GOLS
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for the elderly

Missing parts! on spare parts

The bronze bushing that is supposed to be on the drive clutch so that the belt rests on it when idling is missing. Spent $90 on this kit and its missing parts. Now I have to spend my time and more money ordering this bushing and waiting for it to arrive before I can even use the torque converter. Same day shipping doesn't make sense when I have to spend more money and have to wait another week for the part that should come with it.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Quality

Pleasure about 10 minutes. eats belt alive

I bought this for a 301cc Predator. The bolt holes on the torque converter plate had to be cut to match the desired holes. It does a good job for about 10 minutes of driving, but with the Stage 1 Predator 301cc uncontrolled engine it just eats the belts like it's its job. I don't think the straps would hold up even on a stock 301. The drive belt is identical to the torque converter on my 212 and it also eats belts, just not as quickly as this one. It also turned out I didn't have a case, which…

Pros
  • Great for a small house
Cons
  • Nothing here

Missing parts! for torque converter

There is no bronze bushing that is supposed to be on the drive clutch for the belt to rest on when idling. Spent $90 on this kit and its missing parts. Doesn't come with brass gasket

So I bought this for a 301cc Predator. Everything fits perfectly and works well. However I am not thrilled with the delivery, the first one we ordered was defective and had no brass seal, the second one we ordered was again without a brass seal! My belt is already broken. My grandfather and I received it two days ago and I've only been riding it for an hour! Now I have to get a new belt because people have been too lazy to put it in BOTH boxes. Many Thanks.

Pros
  • Transmission and transmission
Cons
  • Has problems

Pleasure about 10 minutes. eats belt alive

Bought for a predator with 301cc engine. The bolt holes on the torque converter plate had to be cut to match the desired holes. It runs fine for about 10 minutes of driving, but out of control with a stage 1 301cc Raptor engine. Look, he just eats belts like it's his job. I don't think the straps would hold up on a stock 301. The drive belt is identical to the torque converter on my 212 and that eats belts too, just not as fast as this one. It also turned out I didn't have a case, which is…
