Purchased to protect rear number plate. Looked great, first time lowered and closed tailgate, noticed 2 large scratches on tailgate from eagle wings. Tailgate damage on a new 2020 Ram truck cost us $400.

Looks good. Appears to be well built. But I didn't have enough time to test it for strength. It covers a bit where my studs go in, but it's really not that hard to remove 2 bolts once a year for that. As long as everyone is happy.

I had to deduct a star because the eagle is obscuring the state name on my license plate. So you might consider this if your sign has your state name at the top. I've still worn it and it's very pretty. I don't know why they want me to access "warmth"? It changes with the weather.

If you use it as a "license plate holder", I don't recommend it. He doesn't hold the plate, he just walks over the plate. It doesn't cover the sides and bottom of the license plate so you'll need to add some foam between the plates and the frame or it will vibrate a lot. My panel is small, taking up almost 1/8th of the bottom frame. The holes in the frame do not line up with the license plate holes. I saw the Eagles license plate frame done well although I only had to return it because the top of the Eagles fenders were up and didn't fit in the space where the license plate was supposed to be on mine be car I replaced it with another Eagle frame where the eagle is at the bottom of the frame.
