It was one of the best buying decisions I've ever made. I bought this for my mum to help her organize her closet but she used it for a lot of things around the house including getting up in bed. It was very easy to assemble with very easy to read instructions. I plan to buy another one soon.

The holes were misaligned when assembling the handle and attaching the handle to the step stool. Instructions are just complicated things. It is not possible to use the right size screw in the middle of the stool when attaching the legs. I've completed the build but I doubt it will be stable/durable enough for my disabled sister when she comes to visit this summer.

I have osteoarthritis in my hips; I have a bunk bed that I can sleep like a king in. Getting off the floor to bed always hurts, every night. Climbing into bed from a ladder 9 inches higher is painless. Why do I think of such great devices years later and not years before!? Thank you for this great therapy! Best regards KSH

Bought to help me get up and stand up after my hysterectomy. I'm 4'11" and my California king bed rests on my hip socket. Necessary. I wish it was in a hospital. And this bed was adjustable and the bottom was much lower. Thank you for making a great product have that I could safely use when I was in severe pain due to limited mobility.

I was so happy to get this for my elderly mother until I tried to assemble it. The screws are too long for the handrail, so the bolts don't fit snugly in the top half of the handrail, making the entire handrail very unstable and dangerous. Then the bottom half doesn't line up with the holes on the chair legs, making it literally impossible to assemble. I wouldn't buy it if I knew about these issues and it's just impossible to fix no matter what. Unfortunately, this is not a safe or stable…

The holes in the stool's legs, where the handle is to be attached, are almost on the outside of the two legs. They never line up with the handle. According to the drawing, they should be on the back of the legs. If you try to fit them into the drilled holes, you won't be able to attach the top half of the handle.
