    Poor quality: fuses and accessories

    I know it's not very expensive but the slots barely hold the fuse. The plastic cover also pops out. I had to wrap a rubber band around the device to hold the lid. The included fuses had wafer-thin blades and also fell out of their sockets. Wouldn't buy again.

    Perfect for my small boat with multiple outlets

    The device works like a charm and makes it easy to add 4 fuses to multiple electrical devices. Please note that you will need a separate grounding block. Overall excellent value for money. The plastic itself is hard but very brittle. Be careful not to tear it.

    Not designed for rated current.

    The bar is very small and thin and I have serious doubts that it can handle 100 amps without overheating. If you want to use a small hobby project with low power consumption, e.g. E.g. powering multiple LED strips from a single power supply this would be acceptable but due to the small conductors and loose connections at the terminals and fuses I would hesitate to use this even at half the advertised rating.

    Cover needs some work

    This is a nice little fuse holder that should do what it says on the tin. However, the lid design is problematic. Once installed, the two tabs holding the lid are very difficult to reach and require considerable dexterity and possibly a few small tools to pry open. I broke one of them to fix the situation and the lid still fits. Do not install it in an inaccessible place! It would be helpful to think about the design of the cover.

    Buy another, this manufacturer is rubbish

    Open and unbox, my first reaction when I saw this, the clear plastic has a brown cast (if you know about plastic molding, this is a refinish ). I tried removing the transparent top covering the connectors, the plastic tabs broke off which confirmed my idea of regrinding as it's really fragile. The connection terminals fit into this free space. Not at all satisfied but you get what you pay for. Buy cheap, get cheap. I bought another one from Revain and thought it was the way it should be.

    You get what you pay for

    I installed it and can confirm the rating read before I bought it, if you haven't plugged in a fuse, the connection is still established. Some LEDs do not light up even though current is flowing through them. Overall I'll still use it, but when I pull the fuse I also pull the plug because that's the only way to really shut off the circuit. I got Position 6 from Autozone and it works as described. If I were to buy another one I would go with Autozone again. This one gives you a chain lock, but…

    Contacts not in the center

    I had to remove the cover to align the contacts to actually fit the fuses. The clear lid was a bit difficult to remove because I didn't want to break the tabs. The black fuse pin cover has two small feet on the bottom or through the socket. A small screwdriver might help, but I lifted one side and pressed the spatula connector.
