Was very well packed in styrofoam but bent from the previous or this delivery.

housing, but bent by the supplier? The metal is heavy steel and difficult to bend, but it must have been very strong. I plan to use a block and hammer to bend the deformed part in place and I'll probably need to touch up the black paint to keep it from rusting.

Rigid Mount Design

Very solid construction for the price, turns out the roll fairing has a much larger opening than the 4500 lb winch I was planning to use it on. Made slight modifications to not only fit my 4500 lb winch, but also added components for a wireless remote control module and relay to control it for use on my trailer where I have a 2" receiver installed . I also like how the 2" square tubing sticks out most of the way to the surface making the plate very strong.

It is wrong to assemble all winches without additional work. Updated 8/11/21

The diagram does not show the important dimensions needed to install my winch. I bought Badland for Β£5,000. winch and thought there was no way this winch would work. The front slot is too wide for the tension bracket through which the rope is routed to the winch. Now I'm forced to find a way to weld or drill and nail a mounting plate to the front of this mounting base. This is a well made, very durable record which is why I gave it 2 stars. If the manufacturer had better photos with dimensions…
