No. Only use these filter pads after your wine has been poured many times. Even a small amount of sediment will clog the filter within a minute.

Right price to fill and seal

These filters have been used for many years. Usually when buying wine sets, we buy a filter and stopper. Same filters, better price and next day delivery.

Works great but I would have liked the drip tray.

Works great but I wish the output tray was a bit longer. Put in a shallow pan before use! I would also like an additional course filter that allows you to clean a large sediment.

They do what they have to.

I make wine as a hobby, I enjoy drinking it and giving it away as gifts, but my least favorite thing is filtering it. This filter system makes it so much easier and I can actually filter better myself. I hope they never stop doing this. If you buy them, make sure you soak them in water for 15-30 minutes before using.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Compatibility

We lost over 6 gallons of finished wine because filters were contaminated with some type of soap or residue from production. We filtered right before bottling and took a small sample to measure SO2 and PH. What we tasted in the sample was a soapy aftertaste in the wine. We changed the filter pads and the taste was still soapy. We tried another wine straight from another bottle before it hit the filter and everything was fine. So we tried the fine filter, only let water through, and everything…
