Description of Burly B28-1250 Black Stiletto ๐Ÿ’ฅ Shock: Unwavering Performance and Sleek Design

Created to provide your Sportster the attitude and rear suspension travel that a proper cafe, Scrambler or post apocalyptic XL wants and deserves. High-performance damper with dual springs. Main spring coil absorbs big hits and prevents bottoming, while the secondary coil smooths out minor road imperfections. Provides a plush ride that's not afraid to play rough. May require modification to exhaust brackets to open up clearance for belt.

Longer shots. - Chassis

3 inches longer than the stock shocks on my 883R. Increases ground clearance and allows more bike travel. Easy to install for this type of scrambler.

Excellent purchase. - Parts

Excellent shock absorbers! Put my Sportster on and they look and feel great. Much better cushioning than stock shocks and provide the desired lift.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Not fashionable

great hit for the price

Two different springs make a noticeable difference as the short spring absorbs small bumps until you hit something big. I can't complain about the price - can you call that a racing damper in a class of its own? absolutely not. but for a few hundred it's great.

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Almost never

Shock absorbers arrived on time. There were some flaws in fit and finish. Namely, there appeared to be weld slag on the top of the shock near the bolt eye that was about to be powder coated. This said I am happy with the product and felt it was a good price.

Pros
  • Ideal for a small home
Cons
  • Socket required

Big shocks. in chassis

Great hits. From what I've read these are basically rebuilt progressive dampers. 15-inch shocks offer excellent ground clearance and a good sense of big-bike style. The only issue I had was installing the stock exhaust axle nut. All I had to do was put some pressure on the hose and it surfaced fine. Replacing the pipes will most likely solve this problem. Generally worth the money.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • I won't say anything
