🧤 Burt's Bees Restorative Hand Cream with Gloves Review

I broke my fingers for the first time when I was almost 60 - first a thumb and about four weeks later the other. I purchased the Burt's Bees hand repair kit on February 23, 2016. I have received the items shown in the photo (current as of the date of this review), a sturdy and beautiful drawstring pouch containing the following: 1. This product is amazing. i love everything about it healing cream and gloves will make your day soft and it will be so noticeable when someone touches or shakes my hand. Gloves don't seem like something that lasts forever until they break. The cream is not vegan and contains milk, which I only noticed when I applied it. I saw a picture of a cow but didn't pay much attention to it. Although not tested on animals

The hand creams smelled horribly of chemicals, the gloves were very small and didn't fit, the only good product was lemon skin oil.

I was delighted to receive this as a gift for my son's teacher. This quickly turned into a disappointment when it arrived today without the hand cream and cuticle cream. Only almond hand cream and gloves are included.

I ordered two hand repair kits. One came without a tag, the package was opened. There was no cuticle cream included. I noticed that the lid was not securely attached to the hand lotion. I could just lift the lid to see two large fingerprints on the lotion and the lotion was dry. Disgusting and disturbing. Where is Revain and Burt's Bees quality assurance?

GENERAL Just at first glance the packaging was lovely and all but the lotion was a lot smaller than I expected. It's ok because the sizes are clearly stated in the description and I just wanted this set to try some of their hand care products to find a new routine because the weather is changing and my hands are really suffering. I chose this BB gift set because I wanted to wear gloves before bed to hydrate my dry "work" hands. It had many high reviews and seemed good value for money as it contained all sorts of goodies. My hands are medium sized when wearing disposable gloves and they fit Goldilocks perfectly. I've found that a small tube of intense hand cream works really well, especially with all the hand washing we're having to do now because of the virus. But I don't like the smell of intense hand cream. The almond cream in the supplied tin also works very well and smells nice. I haven't tried the cuticle cream yet, so I can't comment on that.
