Image quality is way below my old Logitech 720p webcam. I'm saving because I don't have time to go back. Resolution drops in low light with significant degradation. You get what you pay for. This is a cheap webcam. It works but not really worth the 5 star ratings, reasonable but not great.

50/50 Audio & Video Accessories

I bought 2 theses. The first one I opened works great, picture quality and sound are good. After a few months it's time to use the second one I bought. When I installed it on the PC I found that the labels were wrong, upside down, it doesn't really matter. But the sound doesn't work at all and the video is ok, 480p at best.

Pros
  • Absolutely Amazing!
Cons
  • Only available in white

Good audio and video accessory

Much better than the built in camera on my ASUS laptop. The quality doesn't look pixelated and I often use the microphone to speak at odds with others. I've been using it for a few months and so far it hasn't given me any problems. Highly recommend to others.

  • Great design

very good product sweet sweet price

Gift for my son for Christmas. He loves to. Use it for virtual school and games. I've received compliments on the quality of the camera from many of my teachers.

Pros
  • Good product for its price

Medium Computer Accessories & Peripherals

It is very easy to install and does what your face needs to show. But in terms of image quality I expected more for the price, the lighting has to be really bright to avoid graininess. My Surface Pro camera was 50% better in the same lighting. does what it should.

Pros
  • Great overall performance
Cons
  • Requires an outlet

Poor quality and unsecured connection

From the moment I received the camera, it had problems. First, the cord is pretty short. So if you have a computer under your desk, you MUST have an extension cord. First I plugged it into a USB hub and the computer didn't recognize the camera at all. Then I plugged it into a USB extender and it works sometimes. Sometimes it works, sometimes the microphone works, but the image from the camera is distorted and broken, and sometimes the computer doesn't recognize it at all! This is not a driver…

Exposure is too bright

In a normally or particularly dimly lit room, even the light of a small lamp (40 watts) on my face causes this camera to blow out the exposure so much that my face is a bright whiter Spot. I have two laptop cameras in the same room, on the same desk, and I don't have this problem. Maybe it looks good in a uniformly well-lit room. In the photo on the left and right are photos from the laptop cameras, the middle is from this camera. Half of my face is so overexposed that no detail can be seen. If

Appropriate. Good price

Advantages: Built-in microphone. Records 4K. Has a built in tripod mount and comes with a tiny tripod. Can be placed on the monitor thanks to the built-in arm. Cons: The fisheye lens is unbeatable. This makes it unsuitable for anything but Zoom and video calls. Ugliness: Although it has a built-in bracket to attach it to the top of the monitor, there's no reliable way to attach it. So if you move the monitor, it will likely fall over. Conclusion: A good value for desktop systems and older…

Constant flickering and terrible color quality

This camera is connected to my Lenovo Dock along with other peripherals. It's almost impossible to use if you want to use it through a dock or hub. The flickering is reduced IF you plug it directly into the only port my laptop has, which I won't do as it defeats the purpose of the $200 dock. Cheap build quality and the 'lid' of something you need to glue comes separately with an adhesive side which if not installed properly will block partial view and create a 'tapered' look. There is also no…
