No support for this item

I received this product and it was brand new and perfect. The problem is that the manufacturer no longer supports this item. I can't get the base maps or buy one of the deprecated maps. It's a brick!

Pros
  • HOT button
Cons
  • High price

ONIX200CR - GPS: GPS, finder and accessories

Good general purpose geocaching GPS for hiking. The map lacks detail but looks like it will take you anywhere and back. Once you use it and it gets your location, it starts up much faster. Overall it seems to work pretty well.

Pros
  • Stores up to 500 waypoints, 20 routes and 20 routes
Cons
  • Contact Seller

Difficult to use - GPS, viewfinder and accessories

I was unable to download topographic maps to my device. I've been on the phone with Busnell for over an hour and they should call me back. Never done. I've also found that you can only download a very small area at a time. So I bought a Garmin Colorado 400T instead. It comes preloaded with all US topographic maps!

Pros
  • Safe battery saver and night mode
Cons
  • Minor issues

DO NOT BUY! IT'S BUMMY!

We bought this product because we lost our Garmin. What mistake! There is nothing on the base map. It takes forever to fix the satellites. The screen was scratched by wiping it from the rain with a soft glove. I tried to get Bushnell refund my money, got no support, it took a week for them to even reply to my email.

Pros
  • Split screen
Cons
  • Not sure
