If you cook sausage very often, it will take too long to use this product. My project only happens once a year, making this less expensive tool a great option. He is durable.

I was a bit skeptical about this product because of its low price, but I am satisfied with its performance. I made homemade andouille out of it. I was able to gain 8 pounds in less than 10 minutes with 2 fillers and my wife kept loading the fillers to keep the workflow going. The only thing I would change is the size. Too small. It only holds about a pound of meat, so you only get about 2 2/3 links per cylinder. It's also easy to clean and there was less than 2 ounces of waste.

Ordered for use on a long hike. I have much better darning gear when I'm home. Don't be in a hurry to use this as the cylinder isn't very big and you'll need to refill it many times to make any amount of fill. It does the job and is very easy to use. However, the description says that you will receive 2 filling tubes. I only received one and need a smaller one. I have tried to contact the seller but keep getting messages from Revain that their email system does not allow contact at this time.

Purebred sausage makers will turn their backs on this, but it works. Each piece is dishwasher safe and stronger than it looks.
