Not enough for phones and accessories

Bought for an elderly relative and it was easy for her to use. However, this did not last long. After only 4 months I had to buy a replacement cable (the cable that connects the phone to the handset). It became very static and the cord had to be held and moved for choppy clarity.

Pros
  • Don't waste too much time
Cons
  • Some little things

Mom loves the new cell phone.

My mom is in love with this phone! Broken since 1977, she wanted another one and didn't know where to start looking. When she gave up looking for it, it had arrived in two days. Performance is good and the compression springs on the keys are better than I thought.

  • Dope πŸ”₯

The handset is too light and the phone won't hang up!

The phone is too light; so much so that he doesn't hang up! When someone calls, it goes straight to voicemail. You have to keep your hand on the phone and squeeze hard to make her hang up. Go back to a better phone!

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Expensive insurance

Nice looking phone!

I bought it because of the big buttons and speakerphone. Everything worked fine except for the speakerphone microphone. I heard the subscriber I called perfectly, but they didn't hear me. Revain refunded my purchase price. I appreciate this and their quick service.

Pros
  • Positive only
Cons
  • boring packaging

Count for the visually impaired

Got this for a nice old German neighbor, she's, well, she's blind as a bat. What, as they say; She said she could see (I think she could feel) the white numbers on those raised mega buttons. Either way, or she speaks German all day. I can confirm clarity on the receiver side. Clear as a bell. I also think I should mention that this phone is VERY light, it actually has a cheap plastic feel to it, but of course that goes away once it's wall mounted.

Senior Approved: Office Electronics

I bought two of these for my elderly father who doesn't want anything to do with cordless or cellular phones. After spending a lot of money buying cordless phones and still not finding the phones, you can go back to base for charging. Or he leaves the phone on and never hangs up after a call. That means when you call back, the line is busy. That was the answer and the buttons are nice and big so he can easily dial a number and they're connected directly to the wall. I would recommend it to any…

Coiled cord is a little short

This is a good second phone if you don't mind tilting your head when answering or speaking, the coiled cord is short and the coil is stiff enough to lift your phone off a table and throw it on the ground if you don't. For a base model with no caller ID or messages, this is normal. Can come in handy for stormy thoughts when cordless phones don't work when the power goes out. I would recommend getting a longer coiled cord, it can talk for a long time so it stretches and stays stretched long…

Pros
  • Quality build
Cons
  • Requires an outlet

Hands-free function VERY BAD - almost unusable

, no instructions. Trial and error was required to figure out what the three separate HI/LO switches controlled. Secondly, there are NO beeps when dialing a number, which can lead to errors and/or confusion. Most importantly, the hands-free function is almost useless. Once you answer the call, you CANNOT switch between handset and speakerphone. In speakerphone mode, even on the HI setting, the volume is so low that you can't hear the caller unless the room is absolutely quiet, and even then the
