My 2.5 year old still loves it! I haven't washed it since I just got it but it looks like it will hold up well. Update: My daughter still sleeps with him every night. She had an accident and urinated on it so I washed it and it has held up really well. Gentle cycle with warm water. I hung it on the railing outside to dry and by evening it was ready to use again.

My son who has autism and sensory processing disorder loves this blanket, puts it on and goes to bed. He sleeps longer and better with a weighted blanket. That also calms him down. For a kid who refuses to use blankets, he really loves it. Definitely recommend to anyone with kids on the autism spectrum, or even just kids having trouble sleeping or calming down.

This is a turning point for my son who sleeps better at night. He loves to! He has always had trouble sleeping at night and now he sleeps through the night (every night for a month) and even sleeps 30-60 minutes longer in the morning. He'll also use it throughout the day when he's feeling anxious or restless to calm himself down and refocus on his studies.

Good quality product. Good weight distribution across the blanket. So pretty, you don't have to hear the weighted beads slide around like weighted blankets. The color is vibrant and I like the temperature option of using the soft, warmer side versus the cooler, printed fabric side.
