I ordered a large for my 50-60 lb pits. The straps barely fit around her neck, the chest strap didn't come close. It worked decently well on their necks.

My younger cat hated them and rolled over so they were leaning to one side so they weren't in her way lol. But my elderly cat who was used to the harness didn't bother her at all! :) She wore them with pride and looked amazing. My cat is 10-11 pounds and it fits her perfectly.

It's great. Most costumes that claim to be made for cats are actually made for dogs and don't fit well. The wings are strong and the inner wire allows them to be adjusted to be flat or curved as if in mid-takeoff. I can't stop smiling at my tuxedo cat wearing it. He likes to wear sweaters when it's cooler, and he didn't mind wings. I would not use it as a harness as it would be easy for the animal to break out of the velcro.

I think it runs small, glad I decided to use these sizes and measure my dog. I usually order a small size for her, but following the measurements I ordered a medium size and it fits perfectly. She is a Shih Tzu and weighs 13 pounds. Be sure to measure your pet. We did a test run at our local Trick or Treat Business Night over the weekend. Everyone thought she was so cute.

Dimensional accuracy. My "Dorky" is a Dotson/York mix that weighs 26 pounds and fits oversized. There is some wire in the wings to keep them open. The costume is an easy, comfortable outfit for your furry friend. My dog didn't mind wearing it at all. It has a loop for a leash but only attaches to the dog with Velcro, so if your dog doesn't pull at all the "harness" won't hold. Underneath, use a regular harness or a collar and leash.
