I will buy again. Best in Motorcycles and Weightlifting

I used them to support the door of a large TV cabinet we built and installed on the back porch of a single family home. That big gas spring really took 80 pounds to hit. At first I tried 24lbs per swing (48lbs per set) and they weren't strong enough. The door only weighed about 30 pounds. Ease of installation. I will buy more. Closet (just in case you want to know) Width = 60" Height = 36" Depth = 11" Door Width = 58.375" Height = 34.25" Thickness = 3/4" plywood. Attach to door…

Luckily I had a second pair of new Suspas.

Suspa Gas Struts Two 80lb Suspa struts will not hold a 115lb flip cover open. It would have quickly come down on its own if it hadn't been caught. As heavy as the cover was (I propped it up with a 2"x 4") section, I was skeptical the shocks could handle that much weight. I looked at the photos of the end brackets and straightened the existing ones with pliers. When they arrived I went to install them. I thought I might have to remove the mounts but was pleasantly surprised to find that they popped…

Ten times better than Chinese. Made in USA - American Steel

Some reviews indicate they had to add extra spacers to raise the door/box/bed roof. Looking at their photos I see they are installed upside down. Here's the ticket: Install the gas end at the swivel and the tip. Open the door/lid where you want it to open fully. Install a 10mm top bracket 6-8 inches from the end of the door/top hinge. Install the gas end of the strut onto the 10mm ball of the top bracket. Then attach the bottom bracket to the base (drawer/bed) where the other end of the rack…
