Great Rectangular USB for Car/Boat!

I bought this because it's a long (5 meter) cable with a rectangular USB adapter. I recently upgraded my stereo on my boat and wanted to use the USB connection to get to the glove box so we could charge our phone and play music from the glove box. The only problem was that the standard USB cable was sticking out. from the front of the deck is too much to cover the protective sea cover. This rectangular USB cable came to the rescue! Exactly what I needed!

SUMMARY: This cable works great! It charges my phone perfectly (LG Optimus V). LONG recap and why I think this is what I was looking for: I have a 2012 Ford Focus that has a charging socket between the shifter and cup holders. When I use the car charger adapter for my phone in a wall socket, the adapter sticks straight up. Good cable for computer accessories and peripherals

Good product. There are only a few right-angle cables available from Revain, including this one and StarTech's. I have two StarTech cables and settled on this one. The StarTech cable is much thinner than this. Its resistance is much higher than this one, although the length is similar. See the attached photo, on the left is this cable and on the right is a StarTech 6 foot angled cable. Not exactly what I was looking for

As others have said. You can't beat this price. The cable works well and the square ends are a plus - just what I was looking for (or so I thought). But there is room for improvement. People usually search and buy rectangular cables because of the COMPACT! Those angled connector ends are quite bulky. The cable (wire) itself is also unnecessarily thick.
