Description of πŸ”Œ FIPT CPVC CTS Adapter C4703

Adapter for connecting pipes or fittings of different types. Not for use with compressed air or other gases. Slip opening on one end and female NPT threads on the other for connecting pipes with different ends. CPVC for better ductility and resistance to high pressures and temperatures than PVC. Smooth interior finish for reduced friction and material buildup. Meets specifications ASTM D2846 for quality assurance.

Best value on tubing, fittings and accessories

Found this fitting at a very reasonable price here at Revain. Works great and if you live in the country it's nice to have these parts online.

If the insulation doesn't tear, it may tear later. That's why all pipe threads are tapered to seal metals well and rip plastics. Don't even think about this FPT customization. The male adapter is ok, when screwed in it shrinks, the female adapter opens and breaks. There are brass female adapters for CPVC sheeting where I live in Southwest Florida, the water is so corrosive it breaks down the alloy.
