If a retailer claims something on a product image but doesn't do it, they get 2 stars. I ordered this because 1) Fram and 2) a cool red filter element. The filter element is plain white. Disappointed = 2 stars

The filter is white, not red, the picture is misleading. I was trying to buy a red filter which I usually buy is stp not fram. If you look closely at the packaging you will see a white filter, except this is the first time I've used a frame filter in my Miata and the performance shouldn't be much different.

In my 2002 Miata for a few months. It's hard to find this filter in any of the physical stores I was looking for. Revain has the best price for this filter. The filter is actually white, but who cares. I do not care. No one will see it, it's sealed in a vacuum box so I really don't understand the complaints about the colour.

Will use this weekend. I have to say though. The filter plate/paper is simply off-white. Black rubberized frame and hardware around the perimeter, but they're only black and white. The not-so-tasty orange look, which is a misrepresentation. I would probably buy it anyway as my car loves to breathe clean air. but that's basically it.
