I've always liked Fram products. I got this for my 2005 Corolla "S" and it fits perfectly. I read that some had landing problems. Me too at first. I took the filter out again and noticed that one of the corners is different and only goes in one direction! Look at the photo of the old filter. Hope that helps.

I do all routine maintenance on my 2003 Corolla. Revain offers very competitive prices on many regularly replaced components, including this air filter. Two latches on the air filter housing, the old one comes out and the new one goes in. As easy as cake. I wouldn't pay anyone a dime for this simple project. Dispatched quickly and dropped off at my doorstep. Driven to the workshop and installed. It doesn't get much easier than that. I'm not a fan of Fram oil filters but I use their air filters.

This filter fits my Corolla 03 perfectly. The last one I had didn't have a black ring, it even had something like "this side up" written on it where the black ring would have been. There are 3 curved corners and 1 odd corner. This is done so that the correct orientation matches. Therefore, if after confirmation it doesn't seem to fit, check the alignment :-). Don't forget the discounts, I almost missed them.

Arrived as described although the rubber seal is white. Good quality. Fits in my '08 Corolla, installed it myself. The hinge on my lid is tricky so I had to make sure the lid fits properly so I could engage the clips. I've read reviews from others saying they can't close the lid once installed so lift the lid and put it back on the hinges if you have trouble and it should seat - not sure whether mine is broken or it's the design, but that's ok because it fits and does what it's supposed to!
