PC fan splitter Y cable connects 2 computer case fans to a single motherboard fan header; 1 to 2 case fan splitter connects an additional fan to increase airflow in your computer case. Mobo 4 pin fan splitter connects to the 4-Pin header on the motherboard and splits the signal to 2 PWM fans; Fans can spin at the same speed using software from a motherboard equipped with PWM control. Master / slave PWM splitter has a 4 pin fan connector a wire that sends the RPM signal to the motherboard connector for synchronizing the fan speed with the other fan; The computer fan splitter omits the RPM signal pin for tandem fan speeds with both fans. Double CPU fan splitter adds 4 fans with the Cost-effective 2-pack of fan header splitter; Sleeved and wrapped black 4-inch PWM Y cable provides a tidy look in an open computer case. 3-pin & 4-pin fan compatible with popular brands of computer case cooling fans Corsair Air Series AF120 80mm / Series AF140 High Airflow, Cooler Master Blade Master 80 / Master 92, Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO 120mm, Cooler Master JetFlo 120mm, Cooler Master SickleFlow 120mm, Cooler Master MegaFlow 200mm, Noctua NF-F12, Thermaltake WATER 3.0 Dual 240.

Must have for mobs with limited fan posts!

Many motherboards don't have fan stands unless you want to fight with the fan hub. These simple 2-1 brackets work well to give you the ability to run 2 fans with just one (3-pin) rack. They have been a lifesaver for me in many of my builds and even for adding an extra fan to my own desktop. without much effort. Cheap and worth every penny. It's good to have a remedy at hand for all cases!

Cons
  • Cable is shorter than other models

A definite improvement over what I started with.

NOTE: IT IS **FIVE INCHES** butt. Estimate the "cable length" between connectors is "four inches". Trying to add 2 fans to multiple Mini-ITX systems with just one fan header. The $2 splitters I had were over 12 inches long -- a lot of extra cables to deal with in a pretty tight space. Getting rid of the extra 7+ inches of cable was well worth the extra cost. From what I've read, only one fan connector (master) is 4-pin and should be "driven" while the other fan (slave) follows the leader. The…

Serves its purpose but could use better product information.

When I received this item I was initially confused when I noticed that both splitters in one connector were missing the 3rd pin and the other connector had all 4) that the 3rd pin (depending on how you hold it) is responsible for transmitting the current speed/rpm back to the motherboard. So one fan reports its own speed, but both fans are actually running at the speed set by the motherboard (for reference, this is pin #4). - I just want the specs to be clearer and have more detailed images so…
