Decent but insecure.

Looks like a decent product. The connectors are quite loose which can cause a short if they rotate too much and make contact. I was hoping for a more secure and isolated connection and will probably only buy right angle cables so I don't risk a short. I should have done a little more research before buying.

Not a bad price but could be better

They work well but as the entire outer part is metal they can short out if touched with a slight twist. To fix this I used some tape but it's not pretty. In addition, the plugs fit very freely. I would have preferred a tighter fit to ensure they don't come loose in the high vibrations of my machine.

They just work.: Floor Changer

I wanted to position the speakers closer to the wall to free up desk space, but didn't want to buy a special right-angle cable to do it. That's where they're good, I can put them on any RCA cable and get the angle I want. I didn't notice any degradation in sound quality or any sort of hiss or hiss when they were added. Fully functional and cost-effective solution. Definitely recommended.

Materials are of acceptable quality, but poor design leads to a defect.

The idea behind these 90 degree connectors is great if you have a connection near a wall as they allow you to connect the cable at an angle so the cable doesn't jump out protrudes from the component Unfortunately, these connectors are of very poor design that does not provide a reliable signal connection from plug to socket. When I received the item I was satisfied with the appearance as it is gold plated and physically designed. This was what I needed to hook up the DAC to a pair of poweredโ€ฆ

Took 5 months

UPDATE: Cable Matters wrote to me after this review was posted. They read my comments, reminded me of the lifetime warranty, and sent me a replacement plug. Time will tell on the new connectors, but an unexpected call from the company changed my mind. This is a wonderful service. Many Thanks. Used the plug to free up space behind the subwoofer. OK, within 6 months. For some reason a connector in the subwoofer connection came loose, causing a ground hum.

These 90 degree connectors are great if you have a connector near a wall as they allow you to connect the cable at an angle so the cable doesn't stick out straight removed from the component. Unfortunately, these connectors are very poorly constructed, which does not provide a reliable connection of the signal from the plug to the socket. When I received the item I was pleased with the look as it is gold plated and the physical design was just what I needed to connect the DAC to a pair ofโ€ฆ
