I was disappointed that the fit on the Thinkpad T440s felt a bit loose but the build quality feels great and is completely solid. That's more than I can say about any of my perfectly matched USB-C ports for my MacBook Pro, which often work in two or three tries, so this is definitely a 5-star product. It worked every time on the first try.

My 27" Apple Cinema Display doesn't support Thunderbolt 2, it's a Mini Display Port. Apple's adapter at almost 3 times the price is a Thunderbolt 2 adapter, and it works not for my latest generation Apple Cinema Display (which was then replaced with a Thunderbolt 2 display. This connector was affordable and saved me from buying a new monitor. Even allows me to use my Apple Cinema Display on my Windows PC to use!

I have purchased a dozen or more cables from Cable Matters. All were flawless. What stands out is the precision, fit and finish. As soon as you connect them you will see that their dimensions are perfect. They always work.

Not much to say about the adapter cable. Either it works or it doesn't work. This works well on my Surface Book with the built in mini DisplayPort and a standard HDMI output. I like that it's not too long. This isn't necessary since the HDMI cable in conference rooms usually runs so close that I don't need another long cable in my computer bag. I wrapped it in light blue tape so I could carry it in my bag. My only suggestion is to make them colored to make them easier to find in a dark bag.

I wanted to connect to a new display that I recently bought have. I didn't want to keep unplugging the other HDMI cable from the monitor, so I decided to get an adapter so I could easily connect it to this HDMI cable.
