Works great. Good for DP and HDMI input. The cable connecting the DP end to the adapter box is a bit too flimsy for my liking, but seems to work fine. Since this adapter is not much more than a DP adapter to an output adapter, I can only recommend it. Also, in my experience, CableMatters is a top notch company that really stands behind their products and guarantees product quality and customer service. (All my cables are either AmazonBasics or CableMatters and I will not use anything else)…

Works great, can easily set up a dual display Both monitors read perfectly. The cable is capable of perfect analog to digital conversion, supporting around 120Hz with a Displayport for DVI-D connections and up to 85Hz for VGA. There is no HDMI cable to check the refresh rate for the specified cable.

Good workmanship and solid. Does exactly what it should. My only wish is to add a 3.5mm stereo audio jack. Those who are tech savvy will understand the frustration of needing a separate audio cable when using VGA or DVI connections. Since DisplayPort++ can transmit audio and video over the same connection, it would be nice if this adapter could transmit audio to a 3.5mm jack, but that bad boy is out of luck. Well, it serves its purpose, and it does.

Awesome monitor adapter! It worked on ANY monitor! On the plus side: + Implemented as a dongle, so the cable allows more flexibility between the 3-in-1 head and the DisplayPort adapter + Works on every old VGA or DVI-D monitor I've tested, we currently have 24 and that's it it works! + also supplies HDMI so you can use it as a DisplayPort to HDMI adapter. The DVI-D connector, since VGA is the most commonly used, is impractical when it comes out at right angles to the 3-in-1 box.

I always need this simple adapter because I have to work with different systems. I'm using a small KVM and a monitor/keyboard/mouse, so it's easiest to adapt the display output to one form or another. It helps. I buy several at a time, the collection grows to have one available for each KVM port to use in end user stations if the wrong display port is found - until I can get the right cable, monitor, etc. i.e.

Quick and easy. I have 4 of these 3 DP versions and 1 mDP. They are great, well made and work like a charm. Nothing more to say, but if you have a Surface Pro 2 and need to connect to your main projector or screen, this is for you. The VGA female has locking screw holes to secure the connector just like DVI. HDMI is of course not suitable. Pair 3 of these with Matrox Triplehead2go for a multi-screen experience. I give him 5 stars.

Inexpensive, works great. Allows me to connect my Sager NP-9778 to projectors at school via VGA to work on projects with friends. Tried other ports at home on my monitor and they all work as expected. However, I can't check the resolution and framerate limit because I don't have that good a monitor. But it should fit for the intended purpose.
