Works perfectly! in Computers and Accessories

This extends USB 2.0 over CAT6 correctly and I tested it with a USB camera (Sinden Lightgun). Works without problems and lags.

Pros
  • Networking Products
Cons
  • Poorly designed

Great product - highly recommend

I hooked it up to a 30m reel 6 and my 720p/1080p webcams worked fine with USB 2.0 and Windows 10 64-bit without using the included power adapter ( 110-240V) .

Pros
  • Computer and accessories
Cons
  • Not fancy

Works as advertised

USB Extender works well. I connected it to about 30ft Cat6. My only complaint is that the device I connected it to takes a while to recognize it. After connecting it works perfectly.

Pros
  • USB Network Adapter
Cons
  • Legacy Model

Works with audio interface

Used to permanently connect a Macbook audio interface to a Behringer X-Air18 mixer. I used a 30 foot ethernet cable. It worked great, no problems, no special programs to install.

Pros
  • Electronics
Cons
  • I have no trouble with this, it's just fine

Excellent way to extend USB for A/V devices

I purchased a USB over Ethernet extender from CableMatters to increase the distance between my PolyCom Studio A/V device and my computer. First, I had an issue with the USB extender device that caused my computer not to boot. After a short message to the support they said I could unplug the included power adapter and it should work. I followed their instructions and it works great. There are no lags, the quality of video and sound is excellent. I also tested this with 100ft Cat6 cable.

Pros
  • Network adapter
Cons
  • Negative impression
