They work as intended. Fits well.

Works! They fit snugly over most Keystone faceplates and offer little to no resistance when screwing or unscrewing the coax cable.

Pros
  • So far satisfied
Cons
  • Very expensive

Good price for gold plated cable connectors.

Worked very well, I only used some of the wall inserts and after stripping the plastic used some of the others as regular TV cable connectors. . Very cheap and good cable connectors for male and male.

Pros
  • Hands free operation
Cons
  • I have no particular complaints about it, everything is fine

Exactly as they should be

If you use keystone jacks (and you should use them for all low voltage work) this is what you need for RG6 coax. The price is great and they fit just right. If you're going behind a wall-mounted TV, I also recommend getting some right-angle coaxial connectors.

Pros
  • Availability
Cons
  • Legacy

coaxial connectors are of very poor quality and cause significant signal drop. Replaced Tor tests with nickel plated jack-to-jack coax and signal is back to expected levels. Misleading description and poor keystone quality - very easy to wall mount. Unreliable weak click. Delicate and loose. Don't bother buying that crap.

Pros
  • Brings joy
Cons
  • The list will be long.

DO NOT customize the TrippLite shapes or they will look good.

I loved purchasing these connectors for a home theater project I am working on with an A/V installer. We wanted to use them in a rack that will also house network equipment (my specialty) and use them in an empty patch panel. They will not fit into holes in TrippLite Blind Patch Panels. I'm not sure if this is a Cable Matters or TrippLite issue. Can't talk about the quality of the work.

Pros
  • Computer cable adapter
Cons
  • Available in black only

Plastic not as hard as I would like

These are good and no signal loss. However, compared to other keystone inserts for CAT5 etc., the plastic seems thin. They snap firmly into place, but when the coax needs to be pushed/pulled, they pop out without much effort. In other words, I expect to have to press hard to release the tabs to remove them, but simply pulling down with the cable attached to the back releases them. This is most often a problem during installation, as long as the cables don't move behind the wall they shouldn'tโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Electronics
Cons
  • Damaged

Excellent Keystone Coax Inserts

I was concerned they would not be able to fit my F (PPC EX6PLUS) ports on the back but they fit with no problems. They also match my Keystone wall panels perfectly. They get a very nice positive click when they engage and it takes some pressure to pop them out but they can pop out if needed. I am very glad I chose keystone jacks. used a tester to make sure they work well (some male to male connections like this will ruin your signal). I really don't expect any problems. If I find that theyโ€ฆ
