Good enough price for its use

Actually there isn't much to say about it other than that it's a pretty good price for what it's used for. Copes with its task and is not annoying. That's all I can ask of him.

    Pros
    • Pretty packaging
    Cons
    • Vulgarity

    Pure black SATA splitter cables.

These cables look neat and allow me to connect multiple SATA devices to a single SATA power delivery cable. The PSU I have only has a SATA connector on the end of the modular cable so this was necessary.

    absolutely normal. bendable

This has really helped with the 8 discs I have. The original SATA power cables that came with the PSU were too stiff and I had trouble closing the case. These are soft cables that roll up nicely. As others have said it is upside down which I have no problem with.

    Pros
    • Everything is fine!
    Cons
    • Poor manual

They work, how much more can you ask for?

The price was a bit high for some plastic pieces and cables made in China, but for power strips like this there really is no other choice. It works and I haven't had any problems with it. It doesn't feel premium, but hey, if you want some polish in your case, buy a fancy modular power supply. If you're looking for utility, look no further.

    Pros
    • Easy to use

Solid product! Easily bends and twists to fit.

No problem with this and used on multiple rigs with different use cases. The inverted design, as others have noted, can be annoying, but since the wires are fairly flexible, it actually works better than spinning it in circles, reducing the footprint and providing better organization. In general, I have no problems with CM brand products, this is one of them.

    Great for a clean build

I didn't make them to overload the PSU but to have a nice clean build for my server and to limit the number of cables connected from the drives. The spacing is good enough to either hook up any other drive or have a controllable loop if the spacing between drives is tight. The plug connections sit well and tightly on the drive, and above all no stucco crap that could have caught fire in others.

    • Nice looks

    • Some flaws

    Well made sata cable splitter

18 inch is a good length for this item, enough space between connectors to power 4 vertically mounted drives. My only complaint is that the connectors are wired backwards. from what you expect. Typically, you should use a cable from a power supply mounted underneath the drives. The cable requires you to connect your drives from the top and move them down. The only alternative is to rotate each connector 180 degrees, but then there might not be a wire left slack enough to access all the disks.

    • Don't waste too much time

    Burned out jack! CAUTION

Caution! I connected one of them to a known good power supply and connected 2 hard drives. After about 4 or 5 seconds I could smell burning plastic. I turned off the power supply and found that the wire had melted where it connected to the power supply. Other cables from the same package on the same rail with the same hard drives had no problems at all. Be careful buyers, test them first and make sure the connectors are made properly and won't melt. I threw the cable away before thinking of…

Good quality, at least for what I got.

This kind of extension cords is always like that - well for me. I would never trust them too much because they put additional strain on your current power cord. However, I have to use it, otherwise it means extra money for a power supply that I don't really need. I started using one of these in my embedded NAS and it worked fine. I recently upgraded my NAS drives from 8 to 10 and moved my rig from Itx case + drive cage => mid-size ATX case. I then used this along with a 1-2 SATA power…
