Unfortunately, this cable does not match the display and will not work with Android Auto.

I decided to buy this cable after reading that it is one of Google's preferred cables for Android Auto. However, there were numerous failures when using this cable, and some even forced me to take my eyes off the road and focus on the infotainment system. This actually prompted me to look for another cable, a cheap $5 cable from an unknown brand that works great with Android Auto. Since then I've only switched to the Cable Matters cable for charging as its data transfer capabilities are clearly

Buy them instead of USBELIEVE

I originally bought USBBelieve cable but then was I realized all the reviews were fake - they were reviews where a person got a discount for their "honest" or "unbiased" review, which is a bunch of lies. In any case, realizing that it was important for the cables to fit, I immediately canceled that order and found cables from Cable Matters that appear to be compatible. Charges Nexus 5X and 6P with no problems

I took 5 of these cables while waiting to receive my new Nexus 6P. When the 6P arrived, I tried charging it with the included Type-C to Type-C cable and Type-C charger and got the expected "Fast charging" message. I then tried charging this Type A to Type C cable affairs using a standard 1.0 amp Type A charger. I get the message "Load" on the display. Great for Android Auto

I tried a total of five different USB-C cables to connect an Android phone (Galaxy S8) to my car (2018 Nissan Murano) via Android Auto. This cable definitely works the best. The other two cables don't connect at all, and the third connects but disconnects with even the slightest hit to the connector and phone.
