Works better than some other brands because it doesn't get hot. I've had other brands lose random data at high video speeds, but this one works well. I like the square shape because it's easier to stick a label on it. The SDXC card protrudes slightly, making it easier to remove than if it were flush with the case, although this may not be desirable in some situations. works for me

There is not much to describe here because it is such a simple and small device. it definitely works as advertised and I am very happy with this product. I bought two of these to use as local backups for my Arlo security system.

Never saved USB3.0 speed: max. 34 Mbit/s. The same Kingston 512 GB microSD is read by another reader at 130 Mb/s. I also noticed that it's hot. The USB Type-C adapter remains in the USB port after the reader is removed. I do not recommend.
