Since the difference between the OTG cable and the standard USB is two wires soldered together, I decided to do it myself. After watching the instructions on YouTube, $6 seemed very reasonable for this cable. I have the tools and skills to get the job done, but the time and materials cost me at least $6 in my opinion. I connected a flash drive and keyboard to the phone and they worked as they should. Looks well made.

I bought this to use with an Android tablet and view the flash drive, it doesn't work with either the tablet or my Android phone, both of which are compatible with one are OTG cables. I have another OTG (different brand) and it works fine but this is 3.0 and this is 2.0. The tablet has a Microport connector, not a C connector, and this cable is the only one I could find from Microport. I contacted Cable Creation, they were very good but totally useless.
