Worked with my Broadcom HBA 9400-16i and Seagate SAS 12Gb/s drives with no issues. I connected MSI TRX40 to the mobo, the hard drives were immediately seen in the BIOS. I set up Proxmox with no problems, created a RAID ZFS3 zpool.

I wish I had bought 2 of these cables over others at Revain. I will actually replace the other cable with another one of these! Fits well and was well made. Each fork was correctly identified. The length has been specified. The connectors are secure and the Mimi SAS connector is locked in place as it should be. A good product!

They worked as advertised. My only complaint is that they stick out too much when you combine them with the power connector. My drive cage faces to the left for inserting discs so they are at the back and facing the right platter. There's barely enough air gap there, except maybe near the bottom drive bay. It is located near the side panel attachment point and cannot be used there. It would be much better if they had a right angle connector for SAS wiring and power connection.
