Purchased to expand a gaming device and the HDMI cable does not support audio. I Shia bothered with other cables and ports. There is no song and a 50ft cable is used.

Good cable BUT the end connectors are NOT strong enough to withstand an occasional pull. The wires are pulled out of the plug connection and it is not possible to reinsert the wires. Replacing a plug is neither easy nor cheap. A signal booster at both ends also prevents such repairs. As a result, I was left with a very good but completely UNUSED 60 foot cable simply because one end wouldn't connect.

I was doing CCTV work for a client who has cleaners. It has 4 cameras, 1 VCR, 2 monitors with high quality splitter. Installed the first monitor and everything is fine. Installed a second monitor to be placed at the back of the building and spent over an hour installing the cable, running the wall front to back and also across the exposed ceiling. I knew something was wrong when I paid $32 for a 100ft HDMI cable. I had my contractor run it through my basement and in fact it didn't even last two years. Now it doesn't work anymore and there is no connection. So I have to replace it with a new one and ask my contractor to replace it. Should have just paid in the first place. You get what you pay for.
