Definitely not as good as the original 80's-90's Caboodles. Plastic is thinner and not as strong and durable. The front lock has a flimsy deadbolt that doesn't feel very secure. I originally ordered this for myself but decided to use it as a storage box for my daughter's hair bows instead. It is much more suitable for toddlers or toddlers. One good thing I can say about this Caboodle is that its design is absolutely gorgeous. Super cute and girly.

Item arrived well packaged and undamaged but somehow still got scratches as you can see in the video but that's not a problem as the scratches weren't that bad. I needed a large, inexpensive and functional storage box and this box gives me just that. It's big enough to hold all my meds and with the mirror closed I can use the top as a cute little tray. Honestly I use it every day. I live between separate houses and it makes it so easy to transport all my makeup and facials. The lower compartment turned out to be more spacious than I thought. I can put a few palettes in there along with lots of other things like face masks, wax or perfume. The mirror is also very beautiful. Update: Revain sent me the third Caboodle. This one has scuffs on the top but not as bad as the others. It also had black dots that I was able to erase. The edges are not clean and have extra plastic. All in all I think it's just a manufacturer/storage/delivery issue.
