It runs at 42mm but the tolerance makes it possible

Hi my Chevy Aveo needs 41mm and using pliers was a hassle, this works but the Aveo was a little under 41mm and this one was just over 42mm so I lost about 1/4 of the nut between the two , if that makes sense The saving grace is that the water pump doesn't tighten like a bolt. It was 9am vs 11am so I bought it.
