I love my cafflano. Traveling in the all-in-one station is great. Mill is amazing. The only thing I would change is the filter ID. That's good, even with a coarse grind it takes more than 4 minutes to finish the brew.

Generally an excellent product. The grinder takes up little space but works very well. The only thing I wish the base had a better grip so it doesn't move as much when sanding. Also, the water stain is too close to the tip and sometimes splashes. However, I strongly recommend

Excess? nope Great coffee, small travel size and ease of use are definitely worth it. I can't recommend it highly enough.

A particularly smart solution for coffee on the go, while traveling or just having fun at home. There are a couple of downsides though: the jar doesn't keep the coffee warm, it can't be covered, a ceramic coffee grinder would really benefit from something to catch accidental bits of bean, like a wire mesh. The rest is very consistent. At home I prefer to pour hot water out of the Hario v60 pot, but you can also use a plastic cup on the go.

Received today. I have tried/owned many coffee gadgets. I took it with me on long trips. When I first used this coffee maker I was very impressed. I ran a French press and a classic taste test side by side. First Impression: Made great coffee but not as rich as a French Press. The only thing I would like to clarify with Cafflano is: is the microwave safe for the kettle? otherwise it does everything it takes to make a great mug.
