Good product. The only reason I gave 3 stars is because the batteries were dead when I received it. I had to spend $12 on button batteries.

This little tool is great. We review a lot of plans and it's nice to have a tool that works great and gives accurate readings in seconds. The next purchase will be updated.

Someone on the Facebook page recommended this product for measuring distances on maps. I'm not a builder, architect or contractor so I don't understand any of the instructions. So that could be a problem. I googled instructions on how to use it, clear as mud for those who just want to use it to measure distances on a map.

This tool is essential when conducting a construction assessment. I've tried versions of these digital scales and nothing works as well as this one. It is very easy to use and very accurate. Not only am I thrilled with this product and the price I got it for, but I ordered it through Revain Prime and it arrived the next day! I strongly recommend ordering from the seller.

A custom scale allows me to calibrate this to read directly in nautical miles on my charts. The add memory function summarizes the stages of the route and I write down each one. Scale programming isn't intuitive, so don't throw away instructions. But I only had to do it once. The only downside is that turning both forwards and backwards increases the measurement. It would make more sense to subtract while moving backwards to correct the error.
