Accurate and easy to use

make segment shells, so you need to measure the angles of each segment very accurately. Segments that form 360-degree circles with narrow joints, i.e. from corner to corner, are suitable for this.

Pros
  • All right!
Cons
  • I will not say anything

Accumaster 7455 on protractors

Good product works well, usually accurate, sometimes when returning to zero it gives non-zero readings (fractions of a degree). The only complaint is that as much as you tit the tool, it doesn't lock up and the hand can move

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Big and bulky

Suitable for occasional use

Very good. Easy to use and accurate enough for woodworking. It's not heavy, but it's not cheap either. When you tighten the hinge, it deviates slightly from the angle, so you'll have to compensate for that. I would recommend it for casual, light use

Pros
  • Pleasant
Cons
  • Obsolete

Good goniometer! best measuring and marking tools

This is an amazing thing. Set the starting point to 0* and you're good to go. I used it to find corners on a complex hood corner vent design. The strap lock can be a little fiddly to install, but it could also just be user error or lack of experience with angle finders. Still an excellent product.

Pros
  • Easy setup
Cons
  • There are more interesting options.

Broke after 2 weeks

When it arrived the battery was dead. I replaced it. Used a few weeks later, the battery died, I replaced it - it didn't work. I suffered, then opened the back and found that the weld holding the bracket to the battery was barely welded. Since I couldn't fix it, I don't use it anymore. No money wasted. Dissatisfied

Pros
  • Amazing
Cons
  • Some bugs

Beautiful and easy to use.

This protractor is very convenient to use. I took it to the carpenter's place to check the accuracy and it was within error. My square is quite old so it might be a bit off anyway. I like that the ruler is marked not only in millimeters but also in 1/16 and 1/32 of an inch. I also like that it's made of stainless steel and not plastic or painted metal.

Pros
  • Stable test results
Cons
  • You could choose a newer model
