Precise and easy to use

The hybrid function is very useful, the rangefinder aims easily and accurately. Indeed, the GPS display is a bit small and the backlight is not very clear, so reading it might be a bit tiring. I'm glad I bought it and would recommend it, especially for the price.

Pros
  • Lots of positive emotions
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

All information in one device

The Callaway hybrid laser GPS range finder gives me all the information I need about every hole. Prepare to laser the exact distance to the flag, but also know the front, center and back distance perfectly. It also gives you information about the distance to and over the bunkers and information about turns. I have to charge the GPS between each lap but it's worth knowing the info. I am so glad I bought this device.

A laser rangefinder that delivers - hardly a hybrid

Easy to use and accurate GPS contact finder. Hybrid GPS is not required. Holds a load poorly and barely goes through 18 holes. Doesn't change holes automatically and as a golfer I don't want to fiddle with an archaic and small button device in the middle of a round. Callaway deserves credit for the idea, but the hybrid isn't perfect just yet. However, as mentioned, the standard battery-powered laser is an excellent and accurate device - for the price, the Hybrid is a hit and the device is…

Charge after each use.

I'm not sure I like this hybrid rangefinder. Doesn't seem to hold a charge for long. Recharge after each game. Charged up after one game, then not used for a little over a week, took it out and died 9 holes ago! I bought this unit because it was cheaper than what I had from another manufacturer that had been around for over five to six years. But it costs more, around $400. So I bought this and will probably come back and go to Bushnell again. Update: Even this device, which was 100% charged…

A disaffected Callaway supporter.

First let me tell you that I'm a die-hard Callaway fan. I play all Callaway brands, carry a Callaway bag with a Callaway range finder and Callaway golf balls. I change from time to time, but you get the point. I've had this range finder for a few years now. I very rarely use GPS. It takes forever and gets very confusing on courses over 18 holes. After the first 6 months I started to have problems with the distance. I turned the flag blocking feature on and off and had the same problem. I only…
