🍫 Calphalon Nonstick Bakeware: 9x13 Brownie Pan Review

Bought this pan to replace a 14 year old Calphalon pan. It's ok, better than a lot of pans, but it's thinner and not as heavy as the old pan it replaced. I would buy it again but doubt it will last as long as the original.

I'm a fan of Calphalon. This is my favorite pan. If the weight is not balanced when you put the pan in the oven, it will warp. Example: reheating 1 or 2 slices of pizza. The pan is deformed because there is not enough of it to level the pan. Still, I love this casserole dish. Perfect

As with any review of Revain, you have to weigh user error. Thought I'd give this pan a try anyway. The first (and only) time I used it was to cook a pizza in it in a pan at a reasonable temperature. I pulled it out of the oven, put it on and it immediately buckled. I don't think it was worth it!

Calphalon 9x13 is light and easy to roast vegetables. Can be washed in the dishwasher without hesitation. However, water collects under the rim and squirts out when you remove the pot from the dishwasher. My concern is that there is no way to effectively dry the pot under the lip and mold or other dirt can build up. There must be a better way to shape the edge.

Junk goods. We are using a baking sheet for the first time and hear a sound like something has hit a door or window or a shelf has fallen. I went into the kitchen and the pan in the oven warped. First time I use. Also bought her large casserole dish (set of 2) and she did the same. I think Calphalon's standards aren't what they used to be. not worth your money. Go to another place and take the pots.

I have bought six or more of these for myself and my family. The pan's size and low rim make for the perfect brownie. I mainly use my pan for the family recipe for "chewy squares", a version of light brownies. My recipe cooks perfectly in the pan EVERY time. Calphalon manufactures high quality products. Make sure to use nylon utensils with this pan to avoid scratching. The durable plastic salad knife works well for slicing cakes/chew squares without leaving knife marks on the pan.

Excellent skillet. I have ordered 2 of these. We recently bought a convection oven/toaster. I was looking for rectangular pans that aren't too high on the sides for baking cookies or chicken etc. I took the time to create an inside size (front to back) cardboard template of my non-grill oven. In doing so, I found that I had a little more room, even slightly over the edge of the grill, just in front of the oven door (inside). I love this pan because it fits. I have a Calphalon grill at home. and

I LOVE this pan! everything about it! I have a table top oven and while it's not a mini oven or toaster it doesn't fit pans with any handle so that's why I ordered this straight sided pan, oh but we have so many more! I always try to use pans and utensils properly and this was no exception, so we have a lovely, truly non-stick baking pan that I love and use every time I need a pan!
